Deceased: Weakley, Hubert / 74 yoa male / Myrtle Creek, OR
On December 9th at about 2355 hours, deputies responded to a travel trailer fire at the Rivers West trailer park in Myrtle Creek. The Myrtle Creek Fire Department had responded and while extinguishing the fire, they found a deceased male inside. The deceased male was later identified as the resident, Hubert Weakley.
The State Fire Marshall and an Oregon State Police arson detective responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. At this time, there is no indication of foul play and the investigation is continuing. An autopsy is planned on Weakley to determine the cause of death.
