Vehicle - Stolen/Recovered: Silver 1998 Honda Civic

On November 20th, at about 0010 hours, deputies responded to a residence in the 200 block of D Lee Lane, Myrtle Creek, for a report of a vehicle that had been stolen.

Deputies contacted the three occupants of the residence and learned that four male subjects (Scalera, Arteaga, Ricky West and Blake West) had been at a residence in Roseburg with one of the male victims. The male victim was forced at gunpoint into a van and driven to the D Lee Lane address. Once there, the victim and the four suspects waited for the other male victim and the female victim to come home.

The suspects demanded the keys to the female victim's car and all of her money. The female victim complied and gave up her car keys and about $140 in cash. The suspects then took three laptop computers, cell phones and x-box games. The suspects left, taking the female victim's car.

The vehicle was recovered abandoned about 2 hours later. The car stereo and speakers had been removed. Deputies continued investigating and were able to identify all of the suspects.

On November 21st, Scalera and Arteaga were located at a residence in Roseburg and taken into custody. Later in the day, Ricky and Blake West were located at separate residences in Roseburg and taken into custody. Deputies have recovered some of the property taken during the incident.

All of the suspects were charged with First Degree Robbery, First Degree Kidnapping, First Degree Theft, First Degree Burglary and Unauthorized use of a Vehicle.

Scalera and Arteaga are known to the female victim.
