Subject: Wanted Subject Arrested After Brief Standoff

Arrested: Decamp, Denny Daniel / 32 yoa / Roseburg, OR
On Monday, November 2nd, the Sheriff's Office received information that a wanted subject, Denny Decamp, was staying at a cabin in the 100 block of Brockway Road in Dillard. Decamp was wanted on a state wide felony warrant for Parole Violation.
At about 1000 hours, deputies from the Sheriff's Office and officers from the Winston Police Department responded to the residence and attempted to contact Decamp. Decamp initially refused to come out of the residence.
The Douglas County 911 center used the Citizen Notification System to place an automated phone call to citizens within 1/4 mile of the incident. Citizens were notified of the incident and told not to approach the residence.
At about 1130 hours, phone contact was made with Decamp and he agreed to come out of the residence. He was taken into custody without further incident and lodged at the county jail.
