On October 9, 2009 at about 1810 hours the Douglas County Sheriff's Office received a report from a gas station attendant at the Union 76 gas station on Pacific Hwy near Chadwick Ln in Tri City (Myrtle Creek) of an older female at the location who was very confused. The female told the attendant that she was from the Portland area and did not know where her husband was and that she did not know where she was nor how she got there.
About 10 minutes later, before a Deputy could get to the scene, the female left driving north on N. Pacific Hwy toward Myrtle Creek.
About 1900 hours the Sheriff's Office was advised that Portland Police Bureau had just taken a missing persons report on LAMMERS and while Portland Police were entering the information into the Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS), Portland Police received information from LEDS that this agency had inquired into the license plate on the car that LAMMERS was in about an hour earlier. Portland Police contacted the Sheriff's Office and relayed the missing person information on LAMMERS and requested us assist them in locating her.
LAMMERS is reported to have medical issues that may cause her to be very confused. Deputies have checked the area and several remote locations for LAMMERS and her vehicle without success.
The Sheriff's Office is requesting help from the public in assisting in locating LAMMERS so she may be reunited with her family.
If anyone has seen LAMMERS and/or her vehicle since 1810 hours 10-09-09, they are asked to call their local police agency, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office or the Portland Police Bureau.
It is unknown if Portland Police Bureau has a photo of LAMMERS, this agency does not.
