At about 1230 this afternoon, the 911 center received a call of a shooting incident occurring in the 100 block of Battle Mountain Lane in Glendale. Deputies responded and found 93 year old Clarence Hartley deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. The other person involved in the incident, 75 year old Clement Dewart was still at the scene, and is cooperating with investigators.
The Douglas County Major Crimes Team has been activated to investigate the incident.
More information will be made available at a later time, there won't be any further information released today.
Next of kin has been notified.
