The Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (R-SAT) program involves an intensive substance abuse treatment.  The inmates are housed in a dedicated housing unit and are separated from the general population.

The inmate must meet the following criteria:

• Be serving a jail sentence of 9 months or more.
• No history of sex offenses involving predatory behavior or any sex related felonies exceeding the Class C Level.
• No history of criminal charges involving arson or use of explosive devices.
• Must have a history of documented substance abuse.
