There are no restrictions for cats, however, dogs must be licensed in order to purchase a voucher and we must have, as close as possible, the weight of your dog. If your dog is 6 months old or older and not licensed, bring a current rabies vaccination and license your dog. You may then purchase a voucher. The license will be $25.00 with $19.00 refundable when the spay/neuter voucher is redeemed by the veterinarian. There is a considerable savings every year toward a license for having an altered dog. An altered dog is only $6.00 per year where an unaltered dog is $25.00 per year. Help us keep control of the pet population in Douglas County, take advantage of this offer and spay or neuter your pet. |
